Homemade Dijonnaise sauce is deliciously easy to make using fresh eggs from your backyard chickens.
Once you start raising chickens, you'll likely find yourself with so many eggs, you won't know what to do with them all.
Homemade mayonnaise is one great way to not only use up all those extra eggs, but it's also so much more delicious than anything you can buy.
And once you've mastered homemade mayonnaise, you're one step away from making your own Dijonnaise sauce. Homemade Dijonnaise sauce is deliciously easy and so yummy on burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries and even salad greens or roasted vegetables.
I'm not a huge fan of straight mustard, but mix anything into a bowl of mayonnaise and it's game over for me! Creamy Dijonnaise Sauce is addictive. I especially love dipping sweet potato fries into it.
It's also a great dipping sauce for Chicken Milanese, which although I don't eat much chicken, is a favorite of mine when I do.
Milanese is basically the technique of dredging thinly sliced or pounded cutlets in flour, then egg, then panko bread crumbs, and pan-frying them in oil until they're crunchy and golden brown.
They come out so crispy and tender. Just delicious. And the creamy Dijonnaise sauce is a great complement with the tangy mustard mingling with the mayonnaise and just a hint of citrus.
